As is experiencing rapid growth, we are expanding our Drug Discovery Innovation team. We are seeking an ambitious experienced scientist with a risk-taking mindset who will be a key player in identifying and kick-starting innovation projects to feed Gubra’s Discovery pipeline. In this team our work is primarily based on accessible data and we do not perform wet-lab activities. You will report directly to Director of Drug Discovery Innovation, Morten Lundh.
Your primary areas of responsibility will include:
• Identify and evaluate novel biological targets, with a focus on peptide-based drug discovery opportunities.
• Initiate and lead innovative projects that align with Gubra’s strategic goals in drug discovery.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of skilled scientists across various teams at to bring innovative ideas to life.
• Communicate key findings to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Life science background at PhD level e.g., molecular/cell-biology, chemistry, pharmaceutical or medical science.
• Extensive experience in the drug discovery industry, with a track record of successful innovation.
• A passion for innovation and the ability to navigate the risks associated with pioneering new ideas.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to critically assess new discoveries.
• Strong oral and written communication and presenting skills in English.
You will be appointed on a Senior or Principal Scientist level, depending on qualifications and experience.
