Do you possess the analytical skills and the mindset that allows you to take responsibility for optimising our equipment and procedures? Do you know enough about filling and inspection processes to be the driving agent behind constructive change? And would you like the opportunity to develop your skills to new level, allowing you to be a true expert in time? Then take the time to read on and expedite your application to us, so that our common future may begin now.

About the department

In Biopharm, we produce a range of products that help people live with chronical diseases like haemophilia and hormonal imbalances. In our new filling and inspection facility, we will be filling the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) onto vials and dosage systems. In other words, we make the products ready for packing and distribution with all the processes that are involved in this – from various visual inspections over actual filling procedures to all the documentation that is necessary for us to comply with regulatory and quality standards.

Our filling and inspection facility is ready to enter the next phase, and now we are looking into a period of production ramp up, which in turn initiates many process optimisation projects. You will be part of a support team of dedicated and talented academics and technicians. Our tone is relaxed, and if you enjoy sharing your knowledge and learning from others, you will enjoy working here. The facility is located at our site in Kalundborg with approximately 350 employees.

The job

As soon as you are ready, you will be handed the technical responsibility for our equipment and all the optimisation and validation projects that go with it. Your primary tasks will be to provide support for equipment and core processes with a clear focus on validation and optimization projects. You will be basing your decisions on a solid foundation of data, utilising the combined experience from your dedicated colleagues, when they help you convey process related incidents into your collaborative solutions.

You will be putting your academic skills to good use in an ambitious and at times quite hectic environment, where you are expected get the right people involved to reach the best solutions. This means that you will be collaborating closely with key stakeholders from across a truly global organisation, with the aim of improving lead time and Right First Time in our process.

As the position is very hands-on, we expect you to be available at shop floor level much of the time, while maintaining a solid drive forward on the projects you are responsible for.

Qualifications

You are probably an Engineer, preferably within production engineering, process optimisation or similar, or maybe you hold a MSc. within the natural sciences. In addition, you have well-developed skills within project and quality work in a GMP-regulated environment. This background has given you a broad and comprehensive insight into compliance in a broader sense.

You have at least 2-3 years of professional experience within an industrial enterprise after graduating. If you have experience with systematic problem solving, injection moulding, or assembly, it will definitely be a plus. Either way, you are used to work with ISO13485, cGMP and Lean, and you master English on an intermediate communication level, allowing for technical discussions within your field.

Like us, you are goal-oriented, you organise your time and tasks well, and you are proud to take responsibility for your work. You are ambitious and have a great interest in developing your skills, taking your expertise to the next level in a complex product and business setup. You thrive on solving complex tasks by constructive communication based on your knowledge and understanding of quality. And you never compromise on patient safety.

You use your dedicated and determined approach to complete your tasks in close collaboration with your colleagues, and you look forward to share knowledge and experiences with them. You are independent and follow through on your ambitious initiatives, and you contribute positively and actively to the friendly team environment we enjoy.
