Do you wish to become an important part of a small biotech with a busy working day, an exciting preclinical development project, and an active international engagement?
ADCendo ApS is a biotech company founded in 2017 as a spin-out of The Finsen Laboratory of Rigshospitalet, and the University of Copenhagen. ADCendo was recently accepted as a Creation House incubation company at BioInnovation Institute (BII), a Novo Nordisk Foundation Initiative.
Here, we seek to develop novel drugs for treatment of several cancer types, in the form of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) directed at a unique target. Hereby, better and more specific delivery of anti-cancer drugs to cancer cells can be obtained, with potentially less side-effects in comparison to conventional chemotherapy. In ADCendo, we wish to bring this approach directed at a novel target, to the clinic within a few years.
To reach this goal, we are looking for a new colleague to join our scientific team.
You will need to have experience with, and relevant certificates for, animal experiments (FELASA B or C level). This includes dissection and extraction of various tissues for different types of analysis. Additionally, you should have general laboratory experience with cell culture work, as well as various standard laboratory techniques such as ELISA, Western Blot, flow cytometry, protein purification, etc.
Your tasks will be everyday coordination, planning, execution and reporting of experiments on ADCendo’s drug candidates in mice and cell culture, as well as different forms of scientific analyses. This in close collaboration with the existing scientific team.
To this end, You have a flexible mindset, as well as a thorough, responsible and solution-oriented approach to laboratory and animal work. Importantly, you have completed an education in a relevant field (candidate level required, PhD level preferred).
The open position is full time, starting as soon as possible, and daily work will be in the facilities of BII at COBIS, situated at Ole Maaløes Vej in Copenhagen.
