We are looking for a Research Scientist that shares our passion for entrepreneurship, bioengineering, assay development, disease biology & personalized medicine.

Within the first 3 months of your position, you will be in charge of scaling up our lab operations, guiding our technical staff and supporting new research activities in concert with our team in Copenhagen and Aalborg. By the first year, you will be purifying our antibody products, guiding lab operations in Copenhagen and supporting the lab expansion into the USA.
Start Date: As soon as possible / August 1, 2022.
Full-time position in Copenhagen with competitive pay and opportunity for organizational growth.
Valid work permit is required / Fluency: English
About the Company
At we are leveraging proprietary biomedical research to build a diagnostic and patient monitoring system for autoimmune and neurodegenerative diseases. We are driven by scientific rigour and a desire to translate science into impactful solutions for patients.
Qualifications
Education: PhD or MSc. in chemistry, bioengineering, human biology, or similar.
Experience: 1-5 years, preferably industry, though post-doctoral applicants are welcome to apply!
We are looking for a research scientist with a PhD or MSc. in chemistry, bioengineering, biomedical science or similar with a proven track record of success and 1-5 years of experience from the biotech, pharma and/or CRO industry.
Experience with scaling lab operations, protein, diagnostic assay development, antibody purification and/or quality control is advantageous. Knowledge of and experience with glycan bioengineering will be highly appreciated.
Experience working with biofluids and a scientific background in neurodegenerative, autoimmune and/or cardiovascular disease is a plus.
The candidate should be:
• quality-focused, systematic, and highly engaged;
• skilled at managing concrete projects and motivated to achieve collaborative and personal goals;
• possess a pioneering, innovative attitude to clinical development and developing products to meet the unmet medical need of the future patient;
• a dynamic self-starter capable of pro-actively leading a team; and
• brings joy and creativity to their work.
