We seek outstanding candidates for Postdoc fellowships to work on new physics and phenomenology of nonabelian systems. Our team is located at the Center for Quantum Devices, Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, and the Department of Physics, Lund University.
The program is sponsored through an ERC Synergy grant and involves advanced experimental and theoretical projects that work closely together. This gives a unique opportunity for participating in a creative project where theory and experiment together explore new physics.
The research is on hybrid superconductor-semiconductor structures and the overarching goal of the project is to demonstrate the existence of nonlocal and nonabelian quasiparticles.
The experimental groups are led by Ferdinand Kuemmeth and Charles Marcus while the theoretical part is led by Karsten Flensberg and Martin Leijnse.

The position is for two years with the possibility for extension.
It’s covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.
Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.
The starting salary is currently up to DKK 434.179 including annual supplement (+ pension up to DKK 74.244). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
