The Lattice gauge theory group at CP3-Origins, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), invites applications for one postdoctoral research associate position in lattice gauge theory.
The starting date should ideally be before 1 September 2021. Application deadline: 10 December 2020. The appointment is for two years.
The position is funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark (DFF) through the Research Project grant 'The muon g-2 beyond hadronic leading order' held by Associate Professor Michele Della Morte.
Currently, the faculty members in the lattice field theory group are: Associate Professor Michele Della Morte, Assocate Professor John Bulava, Assistant Professor Benjamin Jaeger, Professor Claudio Pica, and Professor Francesco Sannino. Other members are Justus Tobias Tsang (Marie Curie fellow), Felix Ziegler (postdoc) and Enrico Fiorenza (PhD student).
Candidates should have a PhD title in Physics or Mathematics with experience in Quantum Field Theory, High Performance Computing and Monte Carlo Simulations.
The PhD title must have been obtained, at the earliest, four years before the application deadline. This four years limit may be extended by the length of any maternity/paternity leave, military service, humanitarian aid, etc. completed during the period. In connection with maternity leave, the candidate will be able to extend the four years by the actual leave period multiplied by two.

• A full list of publications stating the scientific publications on which the applicant wishes to rely.
Shortlisting may be used in the assessment process.
