Applications are invited for a number of Professorships in Exercise and Sports Psychology at the Department of Sports Science and Clinical Biomechanics, the Research Unit of Learning and Talent in Sport.
The professorships will be based in the Research Unit of Learning and Talent in Sport and the successful applicants will have the opportunity to function in and develop a new Centre based on her/his/their research. The ideal applicants should have significant experience in the psychology of health behaviour change and in theories of motivation applied to physical activity promotion or in the psychology of sport performance (elite sport and talent development).
The Department is looking for applicants with a strong track record of competitive funding from national and international funding bodies, and publications in top-tier journals in areas such as exercise psychology, health psychology, behavioural medicine, mental health in elite sport, psychology of top performance in elite sport and/or talent development. They should also have substantial experience in designing and delivering modules on motivation and behaviour change and/or modules on elite sport and talent development at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as leadership roles within and outside their university.
Ideal applicants should also have strong track record of PhD supervision, mentoring of early-career and mid-career-researchers, as well as demonstrable impact (academic and community) of their research. In addition, such applicants should provide evidence of high international reputation and esteem (e.g., editorial positions, membership of grant awarding bodies), and substantial engagement with sport organizations, communities and/or clinical stakeholders in the design and translation of research.

The successful applicants for the professorships will be employed in accordance with the agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations).
