At the Department of Law, a number of postdoc positions will be available as of 1 October 2021 or by further agreement. The place of work is at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense.
At the University of Southern Denmark, we want to create value for and together with society by working with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. In addition, at the Department of Law, we have a vision – by means of the legal discipline – to participate in shaping and impacting on the society of the future and to contribute to creating a sustainable world, e.g. through new and relevant legal research results of high quality.
Consequently, we have initiated a new research focus concerning the legal themes and issues relating to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. On the basis of SDG 16 and by means of a new centre addressing law and sustainability, we want to critically explore and challenge (a number of) the legal aspects regarding the Sustainable Development Goals.
The research of the centre will focus on three areas:
We anticipate an application from you who want to help implement our vision. Along with the head of centre, you will become a part of our research focus and the team forming the mainstay as for meeting our ambitions for the centre.
The length of the positions is one or two years.
One of the vacant positions will be associated with the collective research project described below under a). We anticipate applications for this specific project (a) below) as well as applications for an individual research project formulated by the applicant (b) below).
