In the Section for Translational Biology, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) we are looking for a postdoc in RNA and disease. Application deadline: 5 January 2022.
The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic research group focusing on pre-mRNA splicing regulation, aberrant pre-mRNA splicing as disease mechanism and development of splice switching antisense oligonucleotide based precision medicine therapies.
Qualifications: PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, biomedicine, or equivalent education.
The preferred candidate will have experience in RNA affinity purification, splicing reporter minigenes and manipulation of splicing by antisense oligonucleotide techniques, as well as experience with RNA-seq and iCLIP/eCLIP.
