We are now looking for an Integration Engineer to join our successful Regulatory and Compliance Integration team to help shape development within Maersk Technology and are open to candidates applying from UK, Denmark (Copenhagen) or Spain (Valencia) as you will be part of a global team.

You will contribute to identifying and documenting functional and technical requirements, mapping analysis and solution design to deliver new integration functionality in coordination with backend engineers and architects based on business and government needs.

The emphasis of this role is to work within a mature Agile Scrum Team as a self-motivated and proactive contributor to deliver EDI solutions as agreed with the Platform Product Owner.

Responsibilities

• Support the Platform Product Owner for high level requirement clarification, implementation efforts estimation and product backlog refinement
• Performing structured and detailed analysis of partner file specifications
• Clarify detail requirements with stakeholders and translate those requirements into detail solution design documents and technical specifications for backend engineers in the scrum team to execute the development and configuration.
• Identifying performance efficiency barriers and proposing fixes
• Defining system and user accept testing cases and approach
• Participates in system and user acceptance testing efforts
• Post implementation support and system enhancements through DevOps processes
• Support & maintain existing EDI Maps and Partner communications channels
• Ensures EDI solutions abide by Maersk Standardisation and Modernisations strategies
• Understands system interdependencies and collaborates with multiple teams across a variety of different platforms
• Follow the Agile/Scrum methodology and internal process for high quality delivery

We were looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree or above
• Fluent English in both written and oral
• Good knowledge of MS Office Products including Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook
• Experience of working with multi-location teams
• Experience working in a large technical environment
• Minimum 3 years experience of customer IT solution design and implementation in Logistic area or Shipping area
• Minimum 3 years experience of customer direct integration technology including but not limited to EDI, API, etc.
• Mapping design experience with Canonical Model design is a bonus
• Experience of Project Management responsibilities
• Experience of Agile/Scrum Methodology with exposure to JIRA and Confluence
• Problem solving flair combined with natural initiative and curiosity
• Excellent interpersonal savvy and communication skills
• Well organized and independent to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Data analysis & maintenance using advance text editing tools
• Knowledge on all EDI file formats including: iDOCs, XML, ANSI, EDIFACT, JSON etc.
• Knowledge of communication protocols: AS2, FTPS, SFTP, API & Webservices etc.
• (Desirable) Experience with Regulatory and Compliance Integration
