Plant & Hybrid Solutions SCADA & Communication Infrastructure Application

The SCADA & Communication Infrastructure module is a sub part of Plant & Hybrid Solutions with 40 employees in Aarhus, Denmark as well as teams in Portugal and Poland. The Application Department within the SCADA & Communication infrastructure module is responsible for building data driven applications that bring value to both internal- and external customers. We continuously work to increase the bar of software applications that enable data in the renewable wind industry. In the team we work with an agile mindset and strive to be front runners when it comes to applying new technologies and practices in Vestas.
Responsibilities
You will be the assigned team tester for two software development teams, both located in Aarhus, Denmark. One of the teams is primarily focused on delivering SCADA & Communication Infrastructure solutions, while the other team is focused on developing central web-applications used by for instance remote operation centres to monitor turbines all over the world.

Responsibilities
You will be the assigned team tester for two software development teams, both located in Aarhus, Denmark. One of the teams is primarily focused on delivering SCADA & Communication Infrastructure solutions, while the other team is focused on developing central web-applications used by for instance remote operation centres to monitor turbines all over the world.
- Designing, creating and maintaining both manual and automated test cases based on requirements from business and developers
- Execute test cases and report defects
- Work closely with developers to ensure the quality of the solutions delivered by the team
- Take responsibility of enhancing the quality of software delivered by the development teams
- Assist development team in re-creating bugs reported by users
- Write test documentation
Qualifications
- An educational background relevant to software testing e.g. IT, Physics, Mathematics
- You have practical experience with software testing
- Experience with modern Test Automation Frameworks (e.g. Selenium) is an advantage but not a requirement
- You are capable of explore and find data in a database (SQL)
- Knowledge of scrum is an advantage but not a requirement
- You speak and write fluent English and preferably Danish as well
