Senior Front-End Developer
Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge working with 15+ marketing websites? We are expanding our Retail marketing web team and we are looking for a new Senior front-end developer to make sure that all our websites are executed to high standards.
Working in our retail business area of Demant, you will have a career where you truly contribute to the life quality of hearing-impaired people worldwide.
Experience with Front end technologies
You will be working closely together with our Sitecore editors, UX designers, the Product Owner and other stakeholders. We are busy and have a lot of exciting projects ahead of us.
You will also be working in Sitecore as CMS with a headless approach based on REACT etc. and will be working with frond end technologies, including:
• HTML5
• CSS3
• Generic JavaScript
• REACT framework
• Responsive design
• SASS or LESS.
• API or direct integrations with 3rd party systems
In addition, it would be great if you possess basic C# - knowledge and knowledge of Version control systems (Git, TFS).
Take the lead and drive our front-end projects
In your new job, you will be the pivotal anchor point when it comes to taking the lead and drive projects in the development team The use of our solutions within Retail stores spans the globe and we expect you to focus on being creative on how we can improve our sites in respect of generating new ideas and providing an excellent user experience. In order for you to do so it requires the right skills the ability to understand and align with your stakeholders.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated front-end developer who thrives to deliver best in class code. You should be able to:
• Take the lead and drive projects in the development team
• Work closely with the development team and relevant stakeholders
• Solve day-to-day tasks e.g. bug fixing and support tasks
Good coding practices and enterprise level development
Preferably, you are used to working in a setting with code reviews, multibranch check-in and check-out, release cycle and feature commits etc. The important thing is that you have worked in context with other developers and some sort of code governance (Agile/Scrum development settings).
You may have 3-4 years of experience as a front-end developer. You may be working in an inhouse front-end department or maybe you are working at an agency.
If you have experience from working with template and module-based solutions in CMS context (not necessarily Sitecore) you will be off to a very good start.

Apart from ensuring that all our websites are executed to high standards, we train and help the national marketing teams, developing and optimizing the performance of our websites.
We are an agile web development team - you, a front-end developer in Poland and a back-end developer in India. You will have good and helpful peers around you. However, being part of Demant you will also be part of a larger front-end developer community.
