Front-end developer – highly skilled scrum & SAFe team
Do you have the drive and agile mindset to push our online experience to the next level?
If you see front-end development just as exciting as we do, but wthink that insurance and pension products are the least sexy thing on the planet, we would like to challenge you a bit. The thing is, from a developer point of view this understanding (that you share with the majority of people including the customers) makes these products extra exciting and challenging to work with.
You will get the opportunity to see your ideas can be turned into tangible solutions used by many thousand customers, this job is tailored for you. And you will do it surrounded by experienced, skilled, dedicated and nice colleagues, that you can share ideas with and learn from. And not to forget, you can look forward to be working on a very modern platform based on Amazon AWS with micro frontends that enable frequent releases with low risk. We use React as front-end and code in TypeScript.
Code innovative and customer centric solutions in close dialogue with colleagues
Basically, your job is to give all visitors on Topdanmark’s web pages the best possible (intuitive) experience with focus on sales. You will contribute to develop solutions that can answer the question: How can we make it super easy for a potential customer to get the necessary information regarding a product and turn interest into a buy? You will do so in a very well-functioning scrum team of passionate software geeks like yourself. You will unfold your skills within:

IT-education and passion for solid software craftmanship and an eager to explore new technologies
We are looking for you, that (like we do) understand that good code first and foremost is based on good craftmanship – not cowboy tricks. This naturally calls for your structured work approach and what we call “intelligent laziness” in order to go for automation whenever it’s possible.
Equally important is it, that you like to create results as part of a team, where it’s the quality of the idea that counts, not the number of stars on your shoulder. Ubahn – your new team
You will be joining 8 good colleagues in Team Ubahn, a highly skilled cross functional Scrum-team counting a Scrum Master, a UX Designer, a full stack developer, an Automated Test Engineer and four Front-end Developers. Three of us are based in Kuala Lumpur. Our responsibility covers online sales, digital onboarding of new customers and digital support to personal and telephone-based sales. Our environment is very welcoming with lots of motivation for helping and sharing ideas, and not to forget to have fun while working.

- Slicing user stories
- Coding of new solutions as well as optimization of existing

- Sharing ideas of how we can grow and develop our skills as a team
- Frequent and value adding releases
