In this position you will join a small new team called Displaying ID & UX module team. We are responsible for product design, mechanical design, user experience design and user interface design of display units/monitors, connectors and carts. To us UX is not only about designing UI, it’s the whole system and workflow that matters. The team consists of Industrial/UI/UX designers and Mechanical Engineers and is part of the Displaying Units and Systems Engineering department consisting of Hardware -, Software- and Requirements Engineers.
We need an experienced UX’er who can drive our user research, and translate the user needs into valuable and desirable experiences. In addition to defining user needs for our physical products and UI features, you will work with design of UI features for our Display unit in collaboration with other team members. You will be designing the future of digital solutions that can improve the workflow for doctors and nurses in endoscopic procedures.

Your responsibilities

- Plan, conduct and interpret research/user interviews
- Facilitate ideation workshops in cross functional teams
- Facilitate user testing, do protocols and reporting
- Understand the clinical challenges and user needs to develop the best applications
- Create wireframe, system/user flows and design UI prototypes in Adobe XD
- Support the software developers with design assets etc.
- Facilitate design reviews with stakeholders
- Documentation of own work, e.g. GUI functional description
- Review of requirements, risk analysis and instructions for use
We’d love to meet someone with…
- Relevant education and preferably work experience of +5 years
- Experience with the above-mentioned tasks
- Great communications skills towards our many stakeholders and collaboration teams
- Strong ability to translate insights to concepts and final solutions
- Great graphical skills
- An analytical and structured mindset and approach
- Knowledge within design psychology and cognitive science
- Experience in Medical device/Healthcare or other regulated industry will be a plus
