About The Role

As a Lead UX/UI Designer you would be responsible formanaging the company UX/UI design system toensurea consistent,effectiveand competitiveuser experience for allGrundfos products. This is a unique opportunity to champion UX operations to ensure collaboration and results.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Designers focused on Grundfos’ digital anatomy, interaction models, accessibility and companywide design System.
- Evaluate product interfaces with competitive and best-in-class interfaces to drive continuous improvement in theportfolio product’sUI.
- Refine the visual language of ourproducts.
- Encourage cross company adoption of the design system and utilise research evidence to support design decisions.
- Work with cross-functional business and technical teams and key stakeholders to definehighly effective, usable, and consistent user interfaces.
- Work with UXResearchersto makemajor UI re-factoringsand style conventionsfor moreintuitive user experience when necessary.
- Act as the user advocate during thedevelopment process and offersuggestions from auser-centeredperspective.
- Collaborate with Product Managers,Development,QA,SEs,and customers to ensure UI meets product requirements and experience expectations.
- Supportthe QA testing efforts to ensure the user experience requirements are fulfilled.
- Actively promote and educate the importance of UX and the Design System across the business by hosting presentations and running group workshops.
Experience/Skills:
- 6or more years of user experiencedesign experiencefor SaaS, Web, mobile platforms or other standard technologies.
- Have the knowledge of Invision DSM is a benefit
- Experience in mentoring and/or leading taskforce teams.
- Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to mentor UX/UI Designers, and to provide guidance to bring out their best work.
- Comfort in working with distributed global teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capacity to act on immediate needs while building for thelong-termvision and strategy with the Head of UX UI Design platform.
- Understanding of common software development practices and proficiency working within a software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Ability tobalanceUX designteam mentoring, hands-on UX work, andprovideinput for product decisions.
- Self-starter; eager and able to quickly learn new technologiesand approaches.
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong references
Technical/Tools you will use:
- Mac & Windows experience
- Android, iOS, Windows Mobile or othermobile platform experience
- Sketch, Figma (currently integrating)InVision, Adobe Creative Suite
- Management tools such as Jira, Trello, Aha
