Design state-of-the-art front-end web and mobile solutions
As our new Front-end Technology Lead you will be responsible for integrity of the mobile platform and designing front-end web & mobile solutions on Nilfisk’s Technology stack. You will need to have an eye for design and strong experience in transition and animation skills to designing state-of-the-art front-end and mobile experiences that solve the business needs. You will be part of a team of technology leads, and have a special role in bringing creative design to life in cooperation with our Nilfisk Digital Art Director.
Reporting to the Head of Digital Development & Technologies your key tasks will be to:
• Analyze business and technical requirements
• Act as Technology Lead on Nilfisk’s front-end web & mobile platforms
• Manage code & design review of quality and documentation on mobile and web front-technology deliverables
• Supervise the quality of mobile and front-end solutions
• Provide direction in terms of mobile and web solution architecture, designs and governance
• Review technical deliverables from developers.
• Specify and implement Umbraco and Xamarin solutions within the area of the web and mobile technology domain.
A highly collaborative Front-End Expert
To be successful in this role, we imagine that the ideal candidate will have more than five years of experience in web and mobile solution development and architecture disciplines including development, integrations, modeling, optimization, and/or other areas directly relevant to mobile development and architecture responsibility tasks. More than three years of experience supporting and working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders in support of multi-departmental web initiative is also necessary, as well as enterprise and platform experience.
As a person you are highly creative and collaborative as you would be expected to collaborate with both the business and IT teams to define the business problem, refine the requirements, and design and develop data deliverables accordingly. You also have good judgment, a sense of urgency and have demonstrated commitment to high standards of ethics, regulatory compliance, customer service and business integrity
Further to be successful in the job it is key that you possess the following competencies:
• Strong experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic business environment.
• Experience in MVC, MVVM and other relevant Design Patterns.
• Strong experience with the .NET frameworks, Object-oriented/development and proficient in HTML, CSS TypeScript/JavaScript, C# and a good knowledge of their ecosystems.
• Strong experience within app development ex. Umbraco, WebApps, Xamarin apps, Native iOS and Android apps.
• Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code and development methodologies – TDD, OOP or OOD, Functional Programming, Design Patterns.
• Enterprise ready mobile Solutions deployed on Microsoft Azure, Rest (Micro services) and RESTful APIs
• Have an eye for design
• Strong experience in transition and animations
• Agile development with cooperation in InVision
