Are you a specialist within IT operations and have experience within maintenance of servers and network infrastructure in data centers – then this job could be interesting to you.
For our IT Operations department in DLG, Denmark, we are looking for a senior IT specialist, who can implement and maintain our server and network infrastructure in the entire DLG Group. Our primary responsibility is to ensure a robust infrastructure for IT applications used in the group, both maintaining the current environment as well as designing our future. You will become part of a highly competent and dedicated team of 12 colleagues in IT Operations - each with own areas of technical responsibilities.

DLG is going through a transformation these years, and as a result, Group IT is working intensely on harmonizing and developing our digital processes. To ensure that we succeed, we are now strengthening our IT Operations department with a senior IT specialist.
Your tasks and responsibilities

In addition, you have a good understanding of business requirements, and can ensure robust and stable solutions. You demonstrate a sense of urgency, solving incidents and resolving root causes. You act according to the defined IT processes and contribute to continuous improvements in solutions and processes. You ensure that solutions are properly documented and continuously maintained and focus on high user satisfaction.
You probably have 5+ years in a similar role. You probably have an education as a data technician or similar experience acquired though work.
As a person, you thrive in a work culture of teamwork and trust – we share what we know to the benefit of everyone. You are motivated by being up to date with the new technologies, which both includes training and self-paced study. You are analytical and work in a structured way. You are able to explain complex facts with simple words.
We expect that you are fluent in written and spoken English, and preferably, you master one other language (Danish/German/French).

Your tasks and responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of our new senior IT specialist will be within the following areas:
- Implement and maintain server and network infrastructure in data centers and offices in the entire DLG Group
- Manage WAN connections between sites and data centers
- Monitor for errors and capacity constraints + intrusion attempts
- Participate in projects/tasks to optimize our technology stack
- Performing controlled changes in the environment
- Resolving incidents
- Assist service desk/Operations in incident resolution cross services
What we expect from you
We expect that you have
- Hands-on experience managing complex IT infrastructure, consisting of:
- LAN, WAN, WIFI, SD-WAN and MPLS technologies, Next gen. FW
- Windows and Linux Servers (+Axure Cloud)
- Remote Desktop Services (and Citrix)
- Basic IP Telephony knowledge
- Experience with corporation with third party (hosting partners and technology vendors)
