ABOUT THE ROLE
We have lots of exciting fintech features on the roadmap - investing research tools, trading simulation, watch lists and so on. Aside from making investing in general easier, we are also looking to make investing by values - aka sustainable investing - more accessible for average retail investors.
We are looking for a senior product designer to lead design of such features, while still ensuring a seamless user experience across our product offerings, which also include learning, community and financial news. Our product is on both web and mobile app, although we follow a mobile first approach.
You will report to our Head of Product, and will join a cross-functional product team made up of engineers, QA and our other product designer. Female Invest as a company consists of passionate young professionals and entrepreneurs seeking to change the world by financially empowering women.

Professional or personal experience with fintech products, including investing, is a must. Perhaps you are passionate about investing, and have many ideas for how we could develop a product addressing underserved needs. Or maybe you work for a bank, trading platform or personal finance product? Please highlight your experience in your application.
The ideal candidate can work independently across the entire product development lifecycle, from idea generation, to creating pixel perfect prototypes, to commercialization. You are adept at tuning into the needs and requests from users, founders, developers and combine these with your own viewpoints to produce features that address key user pain points. It is a plus if you have experience with data-driven product design. Please highlight this in your application.
Our brand is important to us, and strong brand recognizability is critical in succeeding with our overall mission to close the global financial gender gap. Therefore, the suitable candidate must be capable of creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and user flows and capable of using tools such as Figma. You will also need to be great at developing and maintaining a design system, and creating scalable designs - both from a product design as well as an engineering perspective. - Work closely with product management, brand and engineering team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience, specifically for fintech features
- Conduct UX research before, during and after feature implementation
- Leverage product analytics to improve existing features
- Develop pixel perfect prototypes, and work with engineering and QA to ensure that they are correctly implemented
- Contribute to the product roadmap and strategy
- Develop and maintain our design system together with our other product designer
