Cochrane is looking for a Software Test Engineer who will ensure software developed by the Review Production Team is of known quality through the development of automated and manual tests throughout the software lifecycle.
You will work in an Agile/Scrum software development team. It is essential that you can work well in a team and have an analytical and problem-solving attitude towards projects.
You will be offered:

About the role
Cochrane is looking for a Software Test Engineer who will ensure software developed by the Review Production Team is of known quality through the development of automated and manual tests throughout the software lifecycle.
You will work in an Agile/Scrum software development team. It is essential that you can work well in a team and have an analytical and problem-solving attitude towards projects.

Job duties
- Test all aspects of the software like function, component, system, performance, including design and development of automated tests
- Design test plans and develop test cases/scenarios
- Contribute to user stories, specifications, and technical design
- Identify and record bugs and other issues (such as susability) and work with the team on their resolution
- Pro-actively work with other teams, departments, and partners to triage issues across systems and ensure they are resolved
- Work with users and stakeholders to identify and record technical issues forwarded by first line support and offer solutions and workarounds whenever possible
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- Pro-actively work with other teams, departments, and partners to triage issues across systems and ensure theyare resolvedies
We are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent knowledge and experience in software development or software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Experience executing manual software testing
- Experience developing automated end-to-end tests, preferably using Cypress
- Fluent in English
Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular competencies are preferred.
