We are looking for a UX designer to create the future of DFDS’s online logistics business.
We're disrupting old-fashioned ways of selling logistics services by creating digital platform for our small to mid-large customers. We believe in democratisation of logistics offering, simplifying a rather complex industry, while maintaining high level of services, that DFDS is known for.
Since this is a new business area, there’ll be room for experimentation, and you’ll continuously need to test with customers and look at the data to validate our direction.
With around 250 employees in IT and Digital DFDS is increasingly transforming into a Tech company. 80% of the company’s revenue comes from the B2B business and we aim to serve an increasingly big part of these customers though online platforms.
You’ll be a part of the UX and Design Team (currently 8 passionate professionals) and day to day you will be working closely with the agile team (called DFDS Direct Team) conceiving and developing our logistics value proposition along with business stakeholders and with the aid of inhouse experts in the fields of e.g. Marketing, AI, data, and Corporate Strategy.

You are a creative who is passionate about designing software tools. We imagine you have a few years practical experience, either from a software company or from agency an in-house bureau. In this role it is important that you:
- Are a perfect mix of creative and analytical mindset to innovate, visualize and validate your ideas.
- Have knowledge of Sketch and experience with prototyping software.
- Have experience with preparing handovers for developers (e.g. with Zeplin).
- Have some user research experience.
- Are data literate – and that you see data as an essential part of digital development.
- Respond well to feedback on your work, whether it’s from the rest of the UX team, Business stakeholders, User tests, Hotjar or Google Analytics.
- Are in possession of a portfolio that shows us just why we need you on our team today
