Aller IT is looking for a dedicated team player, who would like to manage applications in close collaboration with our stakeholders and vendors.
The Editorial team in Aller IT is looking for an Application Manager, who will be responsible for a portfolio of applications and for the service ownership of these application. This means that you will own and manage the development as well as the maintenance and support of the applications used by all Aller Media companies in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark.
As Application Manager you will be the link between the business and IT, you will play an important role as a trusted partner to our business.
Take ownership of application development and maintenance
Apart from your closest colleagues in IT, you will be communicating with our vendors and management groups across all of Aller. Some of your tasks will be to:

The editorial specialists are currently located in Sweden, Norway and Denmark and consists of a group of dedicated specialists with many years of experience within content production. It is possible for you to be located in CPH, Malmø, Stockholm, Helsinki or Oslo.
The team is high performance as the applications we use are all business critical and must be available 24/7/365.
The Editorial team is part of the Aller IT entity in Aller, meaning that close collaboration within IT is crucial.
We are looking for a person with application management qualifications
You have solid experience with the management and coordination of IT delivery. Being the person leading the delivery from beginning to end does not scare you – because taking on responsibility comes naturally to you and navigating in a fast-changing environment fits your proactive and structured approach well.
Moreover, you are a true communicator who manifest yourself in the way you interact with colleagues and business owners from many different cultures.

- Plan and lead the deliverables from the Editorial Team
- Be responsible for contract and vendor management
- Allocate resources of technical specialists, project managers and vendor resources for emergency incidents
- Plan and manage tasks and projects
- Change Management, handling service requests and change requests
- Release Management
- Be responsible for the SLA

We are looking for a person with application management qualifications
You have solid experience with the management and coordination of IT delivery. Additionally, you:
- Hold a relevant degree in IT or a related field as tech understanding is key
- Have knowledge within software architecture
- Have experience with application management, IT security and compliance
- Have experience with management reporting
- Understand editorial processes
- Have experience with key stakeholder management
- Have knowledge of ITIL, not a prerequisite
- Have experience with project management
- Can communicate in a direct, proper, and constructive manner
- Speak and write English fluently
The tech stack that we work with in Editorial are
- Woodwing applications (Knowledge within these is not mandatory, but you must be able to learn fast from day one as the learning curve is steep)
- Adobe products e.g. InDesign
