Front-end Developer .NET/React
Do you want to help extend and improve the e-commerce sites for one of the biggest gift portals in the Nordic countries who serves customers all over the world?
GoGift is growing and we are currently looking for a front-end developer who is experienced with .NET and React. You will play an important role in developing and maintaining our e-commerce sites as well as numerous applications and API’s.

Based in Valby, you will help us continue our mission to be an innovative gifting company with a global reach. We are a small, agile and fast-paced team, and we strive to constantly evolve our methods to create the most innovative, adaptable and productive development environment possible. You will be a key player in our development team with highly skilled and experienced software developers, both internal and external, development operations specialists, UX/UI designers and an online content manager.
GoGift is owned by Egmont and is a portfolio company within Nordisk Film. We have big ambitions, yet an informal work environment, and we prioritize a healthy balance between work and private life.
Develop innovative features
One of your main tasks will be to design and develop new features, maintain the existing products and optimize workflows based on feedback from different stakeholders. Together with internal stakeholders and external partners you will assure that time to market is improved considerably, and that knowledge is shared both externally and internally.
You will be working with a fully automated test and deploy set up where code quality and smart scalable solutions are of the essence. Collaboration and team work are at the core of this position and you will be expected to be able to handle several projects or tasks simultaneously.
There will be an opportunity to define your own tasks as well influence planning and decisions regarding technologies and architecture going forward. After a focused introduction, you will be involved in developing GoGift’s main e-commerce site as well as new projects, in close collaboration with different department stakeholders and the rest of the development team.
Front-end Developer who pushes the digital frontier
As a person, you have an ambitious mindset and you are comfortable with contributing in a group while still being able to work independently. In addition, you are a black belt multi tasker and you are capable of handling multiple projects and stakeholders at the same time.
Furthermore, you have:
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience with React
- Experience with .NET development
- Experience with C#
- Experience with working with HTML and CSS.
If you have experience with working with one or more of the following languages, technologies or processes listed below it will be considered a plus:
SQL, Maria DB, MongoDB, ASP .Net MVC, JavaScript, SASS, GitHub, CI/CD, Xamarin, Docker, Kubernetes, Angular, Scrum, RESTful API development, and/or Lint.
