About the job
Working as a designer at Saxo Bank means that you’ll be responsible to make our state-of-the-art trading platforms and key journeys even better. You will not be doing this alone, as a Senior UX Designer you’ll work with Platform managers, development and of course other designers to make sure that we provide the best Trading experience to our clients.
Based out of Copenhagen, Denmark you will work within the brand-new Saxo Experience Office. Armed with insights from our Clients Insights team you’ll be the advocate of the user and help our clients make informed decisions about their next trade.
- Work collaboratively inside a cross-functional, cross-country team. Looping in user researchers and customer journey experts when needed to provide measurable success.
- Working closely together with Platform managers, and engineering, to make your platform every day a little better.
- You help shape the vision around your platform and make sure that product goals and KPIs are met.
- You actively seek out data to improve existing products. You back discussions up with facts and figures gathered from live environments, user testing or benchmarks. You form hypotheses about the products and validate these pursuing impactful goals on a business and user experience level.
- Your concepts help generate revenue, improve customer satisfaction, improve efficiency, or tap into new markets. Your concepts are grounded in reality and match the overall company and product strategy.
- Making sure that the designs you make are in line with our Design principles and ensuring a consistent experience across platforms.
- Coach younger designers and seek out UX ambassadors in the organization that can help you to make the experience even better.
- Create designs on various levels of fidelity, helping you to effectively communicate your ideas and bringing them in front of real customers as fast as possible.
- With your experience you spot opportunities to work faster or smarter and come with tangible proposals on how to improve.
- Being a sparring partner of visual designers, user researchers and customer journey experts. You are the central point for all UX related questions
Your profile
- At least 7 years of UX or Interaction design experience (preferably in the financial sector) with an emphasis on User Centered Design methods.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Master's preferred) in interaction design, cognitive science, visual design, game design, cognitive psychology, sociology, or related disciplines.
- A portfolio, where you show your methods, process and end results. You are highly skilled in responsive designs where you balance context and user needs with the available screen real estate.
- Experience working in complex, technical, environments.
- You don’t just sit in your own silo; you go and bring people together to co-create exiting new solutions in workshops and design sprints. You have a broad experience in facilitating workshops and design sprints ensuring a tailor-made solution based on the needs of your stakeholders.
- Expert in Figma and the Adobe suite, but always willing to learn something new.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively communicate the reasoning behind your designs based on research, data or solid reasoning.
- Outstanding teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Affinity or at least a strong interest in Trading, Investing and the importance of fintech in the lives of our users.
- High level of initiative, ability to switch contexts, good sense of humor and a positive “can do” attitude.
