As an Application Manager you will have the responsibility for cooperating with one of NNIT’s highly profiled Danish customers. You will play a coordinating role between the customer, the customer’s 3rd parties including external software vendors, NNIT's technical delivery organization and NNIT’s delivery management layer. You will use your communicative skills to ensure that our customer is always satisfied to the highest extend allowed by the contract. The position contains no formal staff responsibility, but in many cases you will be the internal employees’ primary go-to person. Both we and the customer formally work according to ITIL processes and you will contribute with continuous input for conventional ways of optimization of deliverables and processes. Internally, you will also be appointed the Product Owner role in an agile team setup, where the operations delivery will be considered as the “product”, while prioritization of tasks and maintaining an overview of internal capacity will be key.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day collaboration in the application team surrounding the customer;
- Responsible for ensuring the quality of our operations-, support and maintenance services towards the customer;
- Coordination and estimation of minor projects and customized tasks;
- Stakeholder management, e.g. via status meetings with the customer and customer’s 3rd parties;
- You will be supported by an organization with skilled and dedicated specialists who, like you, are passionate about delivering high quality to our customers.
You will join our Application Infrastructure Services team
You will be part of a team consisting of more than 100 skilled colleagues in Denmark, Czechia, China and The Philippines. This team is responsible for advising our customers on business and technology, as well as designing, implementing and operating systems and applications for our customers within NNIT’s various strategic segments. Your qualifications and experience
- You have several years of successful experience in a similar role within IT services.
- You have an advisory and commercial mindset and are used to operate in a customer-facing coordinating role.
- We expect you to be ITIL certified and have project management or similar experience within an Agile context.
- You will be fronting a team of technical SMEs and generalists towards the customer, so a technical background and general technical understanding will be an advantage.
- There are certain geo restrictions applicable to handling this customer, but since both NNIT and this specific team are very globally minded, it will be an advantage if you are used to working in an international environment.
- As a person you are positive, outgoing and a team player.
- You thrive in a busy environment with multiple simultaneous tasks.
- You are an empathetic and dynamic person who is focuses on people and results.
- Your personality inspires confidence with customers and creates enthusiasm among your colleagues.
- You communicate clearly in both Danish and English, both written and spoken, and you can build strong relationships both with our customers and within NNIT.
