About the job
In support of Saxo’s significant business growth, we are looking to hire a strong Frontend Developer into the Native Apps team in our Saxo Platforms Technology department. This is a great opportunity for a talented developer wanting to work on an engineering challenge while gaining unique front office experience at a leading Financial Technology firm.
The team is responsible our native app shells which bring the trading platforms to any device type. The responsibilities include:
- Develop, maintain and release iOS and Android apps for SaxoTraderGO
- and SaxoInvestor using React Native and some native bindings.
- Develop, maintain and release the SaxoTraderPRO Electron app for
- macOS and Windows
- Assist external partners with white label app solutions
- Continuously improve on DevOps related tasks for faster builds and
- deployments
Your profile
You are passionate about technology and frontend development with focus primarily on JavaScript. As a person you come across as a good communicator with a passion for what you do. You have a strong sense of quality, and a will to succeed. At the same time you recognize that challenging problems are best solved through collaboration and that team work is essential.
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Computer Science or at least 3 years of professional experience. We expect you to meet the following qualifications:
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
- An interest in learning or already have experience with React-Native and React
Apart from the qualifications above we are very interested in hearing from candidates, who also have experience in the following:
- Experience in Swift, Objective-C and/or Java, Kotlin
- Feels at home in a command line interface and have experience with shell scripts
- Experience with Electron
- An interest in trading and investment
