We are now looking for a Lead UX/UI Designer who has deep experience in eCommerce. The successful candidate can hit the ground running and collaborate with people from a variety of disciplines, including UX, UI, and Service design, Design Research, Product Owners, Development, Q/A, Sales and Marketing, Legal / Compliance, and customer operations to deliver delightful product experiences that will help users accomplish their goals as easily as possible.

About this opportunity
Welcome to the CX & Design team. As the Lead UX/UI Designer, you’ll play a valuable role by helping create a world-class experience on our entire public digital presence, as well as serving as a Design PO and leading part of an international design team. You will have the opportunity to use your creative design skills and apply them to a number of strategic-digital challenges.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating a product catalogue that can support customer and business needs and flex between public and secure solutions on multiple channels
- Improving the search and browse experience
- Creating an experience strategy that supports our principles of Personalisation, Perspective and Proactivity
This means that, on a daily basis, you will work on complex projects from concept to development, working side-by-side with our other Designers and Experience Directors. You will be a key part of a cross-functional, agile delivery teams while working closely with and for our customers.
The role is based in Copenhagen.

Your experience and background:
- 10+ years of digital product design with a multinational eCommerce brand, sizable design team, or similar, as well as BA/BS or MA/MS degree in Art, Design, HCI, psychology, architecture, or a related field
- Experience creating thoughtful designs for Product, Department, Category, etc Pages from the low-fi wireframes through detailed visual prototypes and experience crafting designs that make extensive use of business rules
- Experience defining digital experiences and providing overall direction for your team, as well as experience designing and shipping research- and data driven digital experiences
- Experience collaborating with Product Management and Software Development, experience building solutions for stakeholders and customers across markets and experience managing or leading production design teams according to Agile principles
- Expert in design tools to produce the artefacts of design and experience designing for enterprise-level technological solutions such as eCommerce platforms like Hybris or WCS, CMSs, or CRMs, etc. Experience juggling multiple competing priorities in a constantly changing environment
- Fluency in English
Key-responsibilities:
- Frame problems for a diverse audience of stakeholders, helping them envision the opportunities
- Harvest, prioritise and mature design requests from various stakeholders for the mobile design team
- Articulate user journeys with scenarios, storyboards and presentations, low- and high-fidelity mock-ups, detailed design specs, prototypes, etc. to effectively communicate design ideas
- Build strong networks and partnerships with leaders inside and outside the stakeholder teams to efficiently implement user experiences that are cohesive, inclusive and well-informed
- Obsess over detail and raise the bar for product quality by advocating for user-centred product roadmaps, investments in last-mile refinement and insights driven by user research
