For Schneider Electric we are looking for a skilled Technical UI Designer to become a part of their vibrant team.
The team consists of 3 skilled developers and several talented junior developers, most of whom specialize in front-end development. The team also includes a professional adept in UX/UI, and now we're looking to expand the expertise in this area.
Your Role:
As a Technical UI Designer at Schneider Electric in Kolding you'll play a crucial role in shaping the user interface of our large enterprise application, which is supported by four collaborative teams. Your expertise will help in creating, maintaining, and optimising UI libraries and frameworks, making it easier for other developers to craft intuitive and consistent user experiences.

Your Role:
As a Technical UI Designer at Schneider Electric in Kolding you'll play a crucial role in shaping the user interface of our large enterprise application, which is supported by four collaborative teams. Your expertise will help in creating, maintaining, and optimising UI libraries and frameworks, making it easier for other developers to craft intuitive and consistent user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain stylesheets and be an evangelist for their UI framework, ensuring a seamless and efficient design process
- Collaborate with front-end developers and UX/UI specialists to create and implement technical design elements that are functional and aesthetically pleasing
- Design and style interactive elements to ensure consistency and adaptability across different modules of the application
- Contribute to the technical side of UI/UX design, focusing less on usability testing and more on how design elements function within the software ecosystem
- Engage with large-scale enterprise applications, understanding how multiple teams' efforts integrate and enhance the overall product
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of design libraries and frameworks, aiding other developers in utilizing these resources effectively
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CSS, HTML, and familiarity with various design and development frameworks. While not mandatory, knowledge of Angular or Tailwind is beneficial
- Experience or understanding of how to design for large enterprise applications, including the creation and utilization of libraries and frameworks
- A solid grasp of the technical aspects of UI/UX design, with a focus on the implementation of design elements within software
- Some knowledge of TypeScript is preferred, though a willingness to learn is equally valued
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, working alongside developers and designers to enhance product usability and aesthetics
