The team and organization you’ll join
We are looking for a test engineer to join a development team in our software organization in Lystrup. The software you will help develop, provides situational awareness for the Danish Army through surveillance, perimeter safety, and combat purposes.
Your future colleagues and involved customers will gladly share their knowledge and will be welcoming you. You will be joining a product/project team of 10+ people in the C2 organization of 100+ highly engaged colleagues, in an area of high importance in Terma. We have fun – and are deeply passionate in our work, and we work together in stable, interdisciplinary, and self-managed teams based on agile principles.
Your most important tasks
As a SW Test Engineer, you will be a key capacity in ensuring the quality of our software systems. You will take ownership of testing within your area and be an important sparring partner for your colleagues in and outside the team.

Bear in mind that candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance by the Danish Defence Intelligence Service. This entails that candidates, as a minimum, have stayed within NATO/EU for the last 7 years only interrupted by short stays abroad.

Your most important tasks
As a SW Test Engineer, you will be a key capacity in ensuring the quality of our software systems. You will take ownership of testing within your area and be an important sparring partner for your colleagues in and outside the team.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Continuous verification of new functionality developed by the team
- Support our CI/CD testing strategy and coach software developers in securing testability
- Ensuring requirement to test traceability and vice versa, in close corporation with System Engineers
- Maturation of methods, tools, and processes to create cohesive automated testing practices
You will also:
- Participate in test activities necessary to ensure system and project delivery – including tests onsite if needed
- Participate in the agile events like planning, refinement, retrospective, and review/demo
- Spare and knowledge share with your fellow test and systems engineers in the C2 organization
Your experience and education
You have a relevant education, plus several years of experience as a test engineer in software, and we therefore expect you can tic following boxes:
- Years of SW testing experience – including automation and manual regression testing
- Specification and planning of test activities – with Jira
- Knowledge of testing with agile development methods (Scrum inspired)
- Years of experience in JAVA and other languages
You as a person
- You love to work in a fast-paced high technology environment – with a smile and your humor intact
- You are passionate and you actively follow through on your tasks and enjoy working in a complex and highly specialized environment.
- You are a team player, and you take pride in communicating actively and acting proactively towards your teammates and stakeholders.
- You are well articulated in writing and speaking, as a minimum in English, preferable also in Danish.
