ABOUT THE JOB
Around the world thousands of farmers are working to secure food for the growing population. Pigs, chickens, eggs and even insects. Our Digital Services are delivered on our cloud-based platform which effectively integrate all protein production related data end-to-end in the value chain. Through data-driven decision making, we enable the most cost-effective livestock production and at the same time ensure traceability, food safety, animal welfare and lower environmental Impact.
We are looking for an experienced UX Designer who can help us make digital services that people love to use. We focus on making the farmers interaction with our products as intuitive and simple as possible. Being a forward-thinking group, UX research and interaction design are an increasing focus for our business.
YOUR NETWORK
Great products must work for our customers, the business, and the tech stack. Because of this you will work closely with product managers, product owners and 17+ skilled software developers located in Glyngøre, Germany, Malaysia, México and more.
You will become the fifth member of the UX team, that today consists of a team lead, a user researcher and two user experience designers.
You will be based in our headquarters at Glyngøre, Denmark. There will be up to 20 days travel in the role, both within Denmark and internationally.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
You should expect to participate in the concept, design, implementation, test, and improvements of new features as well as deployment, operation, and support of existing features. This means:
- Work with colleagues and end-users to identify user needs and business requirements.
- Transform business needs, market research and user insights into innovative concepts and product designs.
- In close cooperation with SKOV and partner poultry, insect, and pig experts, participate in the development of the Apollo digital services portfolio with optimal User Experience.
- Collaborate with the development teams that are using Agile methods and SCRUM.
- Ensure that consistency in design style is maintained across the products.
- Build storyboards, concepts, and prototypes to present and validate ideas.
- Identify improvement areas and optimize design solutions.
- Explore hypotheses, ideas, concepts, and features through user research, competitor analysis, and user testing.
- Improve the decision making and problem solving of teams through design sprints, ideation workshops and design studios.
- Focus on the product and support the developers in their implementation.
WHO YOU ARE
To be a success, we expect that you:
- Are a skilled UX designer with a strong digital DNA.
- Have a good understanding of how to implement excellent UX in complex systems and strong stakeholder management skills.
- Understand qualitative and quantitative research data, business goals and requirements, and translate them into functional designs.
- Is curious about problem solving and seeing constraints as an inspiration.
- Are driven by understanding users and translating their needs into sketches, wireframes and mockups and are used to have a close dialogue with customers.
- Are proficient in most User-Centered Design methods, techniques, and principles and have experience in design tools like Sketch, Figma or similar.
- Are capable of documenting designs efficiently for implementation by developers in remote locations.
- Have a university degree within fields such as Interaction Design, UX Design, Computer Science.
- Have at least 3 years of work experience with several types of digital projects from an agency, startup or a larger corporation.
- Are fluent English and Danish skills, both in writing and verbally.
