Electrical Test Engineer

Your new department
You will be part of our Electrical Engineering team within the EPC department, which consists of nine people. The team manages all Electrical Engineering activities within our Danish building program and acts as technical advisors for our international building programs.
The team´s main responsibilities are to design our electrical infrastructure from Point of Connection through sub- and transformer stations to LV distribution networks. We navigate between in-house design, and subcontractors design including a multi-contracting approach where sub-contractor management is a big part of the daily routines.
Your new role
As an Electrical Test engineer you will participate in factory inspections, supervision of site test and hands-on problem solving on site related activities in Denmark and aboard. Your focus will primary be on MV and HV systems from 10-60kV and 110 to 400kV. Additionally you will acts as coupling person in close corporation with the authorized coupling responsible company.
You will be part of the EPC team where you are in close corporation with procurements, structural, and design teams to support and safeguard our projects through innovative design, studies, models, etc., and further regularly report back to our project teams by use of company-based Project Life Cycle (PLC) software and meetings.
You will be responsible for serval tasks on multiple projects and be accountable for the completion of electrical activities on a selection of projects with support from team members.

Responsibilities:
- Manage inspection and test guidelines for subcontractors’ works performed at our sites.
- Quality control of subcontractor’s test procedure and documentation.
- On-site inspection of subcontractor´s tests program.
- On-site, hands-on test of electrical systems, power substations and switch yards.
- On-site coupling responsible person under the regulation of DAP
- On-site troubleshooting and site management.
- Managing the corporation with suppliers in respect of coordinating interfaces and final design.
- Participate in negotiations with sub-suppliers, consultants, and Utility Companies/Grid Operators.
- Specify and follow up on documentation from suppliers including final project documentation.
- Support the design concepts, specifications, control concepts, and single-line diagrams.
- Exploring regulative standards to optimize designs.
- Detailed engineering documentation or verification depending on EPC architecture.
- Follow up on schedule from suppliers according to project schedule.
- Inspections/FAT and check of equipment at the suppliers’ production facilities before shipping.
Your Profile:
You have:
- 7-10 years of experience within the area of HV, MV & LV Systems for power generating facilities, and further we expect a practical and thermotical background.
- 7-10 years of experience test and Commissioning activities of power installations in an industrial environment.
- Experienced coupling person.
- High focus on quality and deadlines.
- Educational background as Electrical Installer or Power Engineer.
- Good cooperation skills.
- Technical understanding and experience with solar projects is an advantage.
- English at a professional level is a requirement
- Will be able to travel up to 180 days/year
