Area of responsibility:

• The department were he/she will be integrated is called Innovation & Technical Sales Support (I&TSS). He/she must be a bridge-builder between I&TSS and Sales.
• The activities will be divided between Innovation, Technical Sales Support and Influence Authorities, Working Groups and Committees related to the Genan product range. That will include:
  • Development of new products and new areas of application for Genan’s existing products (Starting from the raw materials that we now make available to the market, combining areas of knowledge with the needs of the market and the market itself, participating in the how to do definition, what characteristics to respect in the target markets, guaranteeing them by certification until the execution of the technical data sheets);
  • Technical Sales Support;
  • Influence, develop and integrate Normative, Standardizing, Governmental and of other Authorities Working Groups and Committees related to the Genan product range;
  • Co-operation with universities, technical institutes and customers in that development of new products and applications;
  • Speaker at seminars and conferences related to technical and environmental issues.
  
  

Main activities:

• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education;
• Support and create new documentation for new application for the sales team;
• Arrange and carry out product and application training for the sales team;
• Make all the available documentation useful towards consultants and future tender descriptions;
• Follow the prioritized projects assigned to him and ensure its progress;
• Monitor and collect regulation and approvals required for Genan products;
• Focus on Textile fibres and Polymer composites to transform them in new products and applications;
• Customer visits with sales team to understand customer requirements;
• Contact to Local Governments (i.e. Central Europe) in technical, environmental and legal matters;
• Influence German Local and National Authorities (i.e. DIBT, BAM, BISP, DOSB, IAKS, WDK, UBA);
• Participation in Standard Committees (i.e. DIN, RAL, CEN);
• Lobbyism in affairs towards the EU-Commission (ECHA, EUTop, ETRMA asf.) in close cooperation with the NGO/IGO (EuRIC, MTR);
• Contact to Sports organizations (i.e. DFB, UEFA, FIFA).

Qualifications:

• Materials / Industrial / General engineer with environmental knowledge and at least 7 years of experience;
• Strong Commercial and Technical understanding;
• Analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Team working and Interpersonal skills;
• Native language is German and communication language is English, both in writing and speaking at a high technical level;
• Solid presentation skills.
