GoGift are growing! To support this growth, They are looking for a Front-end developer to maintain and further develop our e-commerce sites, which is one of the biggest gift portals in the Nordic countries and serves customers all over the world.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your professional skills and become part of a one-stop global gifting provider with global ambitions for their innovative gifting solution. You will have the opportunity to work with senior and seasoned developers and learn from them.

Located in their creative office surroundings in Valby, you will become part of a small and fast-paced team with a lot of responsibilities, but also a lot of flexibility and opportunities. They strive to constantly evolve their methods to create the most innovative, adaptable and productive development environment possible.
Collaboration and teamwork are at the core of their team and you will be working with highly skilled software developers and a development operations specialist. They are an international team with a 50/50 gender split and work with a modern tech stack and a modern microservice pattern hosted in the cloud.
GoGift is owned by Egmont and is a portfolio company within Nordisk Film. They have big ambitions, yet they strive for a sustainable Work-Life balance and they mix on-site work with working remotely. During Covid they will mainly be working remotely and communicating via Slack, Teams, Meet etc.

You will be working with a fully automated test and deploy set up where code quality and smart scalable solutions are of the essence. There will be an opportunity to define your own tasks as well influence planning and decisions regarding technologies and architecture going forward.

Develop innovative features
- Maintenance and further development of their main sales front
- Plan and develop new apps and front ends
- Drive projects or tasks simultaneously
- Assure that time to market is improved considerably together with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Ensure a strong focus on security, code quality and review processes
- Contribute to knowledge sharing with stakeholders
- Contribute to a close collaboration with UI and UX experts to design, measure and optimize

- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
- A good knowledge of JavaScript and CSS
- A good understanding of Node and the building processes behind it
- Knowledge of source control (in their case Git)
- Understanding of linting and code quality control
- Knowledge of ReactJS
- Understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks
- Knowledge of AWS considered a plus
