We currently have an opening for an experienced mechanical engineer to design a complex robot system and update the current robot. Rope Robotics offers a progressive working environment with a broad range of responsibilities. You will be part of a small and efficient mechanical team where the distance from idea to action is short.

We are looking for someone who has a systematic and result oriented approach to work. In this role it will be crucial to keep track of your tasks and their affect on other projects. You need to be a good listener and like working with people. You can take on responsibility independently and have a hands-on approach. Finding a solution today rather than tomorrow should always be your mantra, while keeping the big picture in mind.

Did you know that a wind turbine blades can be repaired only 20% of the time during a year and it requires a man to climb up with the support of ropes? Rope Robotics is developing the world first blade maintenance robot to reduce the cost of green wind power and improve the working environment of service technicians. Rope Robotics is located in Aarhus with 20 employees currently and plan to be 25-30 within the coming year. We are a young/dedicated team that offers a variety of benefits such as weekly runs and canteen.
We have several robot pilots in the pipeline in various places around the world and have received major funding from the EU and Danish Government. And the future looks bright!

- Take part of the hardware development of the largest robot project in Denmark
- Be responsible for the implementation of components in product roadmap
- Ensure good communication and team play within the projects delivered

- 5+ years of experience as mechanical engineer
- Experience using Solid works or other CAD programs
- You have a bachelor degree or equivalent in the area of mechanical engineering
