Come and join us at Maersk Container Industry in Tinglev to participate in constant improvement of our prime product: our reefer machine! We are an international organization, where you will become a key employee on our Star Cool refrigeration machine in our System & Maintenance department.

Key responsibilities

You will be our new electrotechnical expert in a small team of dedicated employees. You will work closely with the R&D and Quality departments and report directly to the Head of System & Maintenance.

Based on input from the Quality department, your main tasks will be 8D managesment on the electronic components within our reefer machine, such as PCBs,Power electronics ,sensors and µp with data acquisition.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Take ownership of troubleshooting on electrical and electronic compo-nents on the Star Cool refrigeration machine in order to optimize and ensure highest quality
• Identify mitigation areas, actions and specifying improvements to relevant parts
• Become a specialized go-to-person on the Star Cool refrigeration machine

We are looking for

Ideally, you have profound experience within Electronical Engineering or Chemical Engineering including some electronical background. Some experiences within refrigeration would be considered an advantage.

We are looking for someone who has strong analytical skills, a holistic view, and a good sense of urgency in terms of prioritization of tasks.

Through your experience you have the ability to balance between, deep dive in details and timely execution.

You are a trusted advisor, possess a process optimization mindset and you are brave in challenging existing solutions and ideas.

Additionally, we expect you to have:

• Bachelor’s and/ or Master’s degree as an Electronic Engineer, Chemical Engineer or similar
• Extensive experience with electronic components and basic project management skills
• An honest curiosity for natural sciences and interest for thermodynamics, electrochemistry and solid understanding for electrical circuits and technical terms
• A customer centric mindset and some team spirit, so you won’t hesitate to challenge your colleagues in order to ensure you deliver high quality results
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are a prerequisite

You must expect up to 20 travel days a year.
