Are you an electronics engineer with demonstrable knowledge of component production, coupled with a global mindset, and a desire to apply your skills to green technology? Vestas is currently looking for an electronics engineer to join our Service Engineering organisation.

Service Engineering (VSE) is a global organization of Global Service. Within VSE, Service Product Support, together with Service Product Technology, is responsible for the engineering execution of global service projects, tasks and document creation. Service Product Support is involved and responsible for the execution of engineering changes out of the Engineering Change Management (ECM), creation and development of service work instruction, creation of TSS and TPS documentation. Service Product Support is involved with expertise also in other processes and systems (e.g. ISM, CMT). Service Product Support is mainly responsible for support tasks coming in from various areas. The team is located in different geographical locations and is expanding to meet the demand of a growing and improving business.

Responsibilities
- Be the anchor point for electronics and sensors in the team and promote the maintenance tasks together with the team around you (including partners)
- Direct the input to the roadmap for obsolete parts within electronics.
- Participate in design updates where an existing electronic module need to be replaced/updated.
- Ensure continuous updates of existing control unit designs
- Support in handling obsolete components together with sub suppliers
- Be a contributor in the continuous improvement of our processes and tools.
- Be part of the product lifecycle management.
- Share your knowledge and experience on electronic components to your colleagues and partner
- Create, review and compare specifications like TSS, TPS, etc. from electronic components
- To support the ECM team, you will show responsibility for the electronic related ECR's
- Provide support for projects & supporting tasks , also on different WTG brands and platforms
- Be part of document creation and work instructions for electronic components, (e.g. TSS, TPS).
- Review work instructions and documentation
- Provide support to the technical writers and the technical sourcing team
- Also maintain your professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications
Qualifications
- +5 years of experience within the area or work-related experience
- Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics Engineering
- Analogue and digital hardware design work experience
- EMC knowledge
- Knowledge of production engineering (electronics)
- Trained on the electronic components (e.g. supplier training, component training, inhouse training, etc.).
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams)

- Solid focus on internal stakeholder and service
- Ability to communicate succinctly in an international team with colleagues based in the US, Europe, India etc. = Strong team member
- Good and friendly communication skills towards external partner
- High level of attention to detail
- High degree of organization and time management
- Willingness to be involved and taking over of responsibilities
- Ability to multitask (prioritize daily work within an ever-growing environment)
- Self-starter/motivator
- Flexibility and ability to travel (including internationally) up to ~20%
- Target and task oriented
