JOB DESCRIPTION
Lyngsoe Systems is currently on a journey of growth and development and we are actively looking for an experienced Hardware Developer to join our Data Capture Development team in our Canadian office.
You will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality and complex electronic wireless products and solutions targeting our different verticals. You will participate in all project and development phases from creating detailed specifications and product/solution designs to testing, type approval, production, and service setup.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
You will get to work with different technologies and platforms, and you must have a good sense for creating products and prototypes based on our platform components.
You will be expected to travel to customers as well as to the company headquartered in Denmark.

You will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality and complex electronic wireless products and solutions targeting our different verticals. You will participate in all project and development phases from creating detailed specifications and product/solution designs to testing, type approval, production, and service setup.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Hardware architecture and design of low power active and passive RFID solutions
- Architecture and design of complex wireless products integrating multiple radios
- Combining our existing platform components with application specific mechanical enclosure
- Product specification, design, development, testing and type approvals
- Introduction of new developed products into production and service
- Product development combining hardware and firmware
- Mentor and trainer for the hardware team
- A close cooperation with business units, product management and project management for defining incl. planning and estimating efforts (e.g., basis of estimates, design to costs) and development of new products
You will get to work with different technologies and platforms, and you must have a good sense for creating products and prototypes based on our platform components.
You will be expected to travel to customers as well as to the company headquartered in Denmark.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- You have minimum 5 years’ experience in; Radio Systems, Cellular Modem module integration, System architecture and multiple co-location Radio designs.
- You have a strong analytical mindset, but also a good hands-on approach to create fast prototypes.
- You are strong in communication and cooperation in a technical development team as well as to stakeholders within Product Management, Sales, After sales service and production.
- You have a passion for technical design excellence, documentation, as well as for design processes.
- You are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision and who consistently takes the initiative to get things done
- Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established HS&E requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the environment.
