You will be a member of the Displaying Unit and Systems Engineering team located at our headquarters in Ballerup. We have full focus on developing new products and processes that combine several technologies in new and innovative ways. To succeed, we need an experienced and skilled engineer on our team.
Electronics development
As R&D Electronics engineer, you are a vital player in product development projects and you will be involved in many internal and external aspects of electronic design implementations. You will be part of the development projects within the electrical field and you will work closely with internal project teams as well as external partners.
Your responsibilities will cover
• Hardware/software interaction and implementation
• Schematics and layout design for functionality and EMC compliance
• Review of electrical design
• Review of Electrical Patient Safety
• Verification and testing in collaboration with our test and verification team and with external partners.
You will also be responsible for documentation of the products according to FDA and ISO and you will assist QA/RA in the regulatory and quality assurance engineering issues in the electronic area.
You will participate in prototype development in our new lab facilities and at external partners’ facilities so we expect that you have the desire and ability to do soldering, create test setups and use lab equipment. Experience with FPGA design, signal integrity cabling as well as Labview coding ability will be considered as an advantage. Your contact base will be broad, and you will have interface with Ambu’s global organization, all departments involved in product development projects and externally with subcontractors, users and knowledge centers.
Experienced device engineer
What characterizes you personally is your high social and professional judgement and your self-motivation. In order to be successful in the job, you need to thrive in work situations with both internal and external partners where you use your outstanding interpersonal skills to ensure long-lasting and beneficial solutions. You are positive, constructive, structured, detail oriented and you combine a proactive mind-set with the ability to plan, execute and meet deadlines.
You have +5 years’ of experience with electronic hardware development and you hold a master’s degree in electronics engineering or similar. You have experience with medical device standards 60601-1 and 60601-1-2 (EMC), including performing supplier quality audits. Additionally you have a great interest in customer understanding and translating the customer requirements/application demands into product features.
Since we are a global company, you will be involved in cross-cultural collaboration. You must be fluent in English and you can expect some travelling primarily to our external HW partner in Taiwan (approximately 10 - 20 days per year).
