We are looking for a dedicated Electronics Engineer for our client’s physics and nanofabrication laboratory in Copenhagen.

The lab is among the largest in Europe and will provide the you with many opportunities to make a positive impact in highly dynamic environment of scientist and engineers trying to push the boundaries of computing. This research program is allocated on 8 sites distributed over 3 continents.

You will be a part of a team that designs and maintains electronics and cryogenic instruments for experimental computing research.

The position
The successful candidate will have the following tasks:

  • Design analog/microwave and digital electronics for quantum computing research.
  • Maintain state-of-the-art electronics and cryogenic equipment
  • Assemble and debug RF/microwave setups
  • Assemble various electronic devices
  • PCB design
  • FPGA programming
  • Software development

Depending on you level of experience and the results from the experiments, your job tasks will be dynamic and might change from day to day.

The candidate
We expect that the successful candidate

  • Has a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Cryogenics or Experimental Physics.
  • Has hands-on experience with microwave/analog electronics or cryogenics.
  • Has strong organizational skills to manage several multi-disciplinary projects at the same time.

You will be employed by TEMP-TEAM Denmark, but working full-time at our client’s location. This is expected to be 18 months position.

About our client

Our client has been studying experimental computing for several years and has become the world’s center of expertise on topological computing. The research effort includes a staff of theoretical, experimental and engineering teams around the world. At the Danish lab a team of material scientists, experimental and theoretical physicists and engineers works in collaboration with the global team on the design, fabrication, modeling and measurement of quantum devices, with the goal to study topological physics in new materials systems, and develop and prototype topological qubit devices. In our state of the art fabrication facility we grow materials and characterize them by developing cutting edge methods. Efficient process optimization requires data-driven decision-making, which heavily relies on reliable metrology and analysis of in-line, and end-of-line data.
