Become a part of the Technology department in Kamstrup

As our new Hardware Developer you will become part of our development department for electricity meters, where we develop and maintain hardware, software and mechanics for our electricity metering systems. The department consist of 20 dedicated colleagues, who works towards a goal of creating innovative measurement solutions of high quality. We are typically working in smaller teams, consisting of electronic-, software and mechanic developers and have interdisciplinary sparring as a natural part of everyday life.
A job with focus on innovative solutions
In the position as Hardware Developer, you will be a part of securing Kamstrup as leading supplier of solutions for electricity meters internationally. You will contribute through interdisciplinary projects covering both strategic and customer specific development, where you will have the responsibility for the hardware part of the meter. Our projects are typically carried out in an interdisciplinary project team, where in addition to the construction of hardware, you will also have to take a coordinating responsibility, or sub-elements thereof. Through a holistic approach to the projects, you will help to inspire to deliver superior quality and innovative hardware solutions.
More specifically, your tasks will consist of the following:
• Take part in various project-oriented development processes
• Hardware development, including product development with the classic disciplines such as. requirements specification, construction, DFMEA, diagram drawing, verification, test specification
• A wide range of contacts with our highly automated in-house production and thereby help to ensure volume production in the highest quality
Personality matters
We are looking for an ambitious and professionally skilled person with a solid theoretical foundation as an Electronics Engineer or similar. You have at least 3-5 years of experience from a similar position. Through this, you have built up experience with EMC-correct design, which is why it is expected that you have a continued interest in keeping up to date with the latest product standards.
As a person, you take pride in professional hardware development and quality assurance. You are good at creating an overview and are open to new ideas, but at the same time you have a methodical, analytical and structured approach to your tasks. In addition, you value collaboration highly, and will contribute to the team with your professional competencies. You do your best and challenge yourself to provide excellent products and service to our customers. In addition, it is essential that you are motivated to obtain new knowledge and think ahead in the contexts in which you are involved. You will have a significant influence and responsibility in relation to the hardware architecture of our upcoming products.
Finally, it is a requirement that you both speak and write Danish fluently and write English fluently.
