Now is your chance to become part of the team at the fantastic A Place To Hotel in Esbjerg. Our beautiful and architecturally stunning hotel is located at Grådybet 73A in Esbjerg. With its 66 meters in height, the hotel offers the most amazing views of both the city and the harbor.

As part of our continued development and expansion to 214 rooms, we are currently being rebranded to the internationally recognized Marriott brand Element by Westin. Therefore, we are currently looking for one or more outgoing, friendly, and responsible night porters. The role of night porter with us includes a wide range of tasks, so you should be comfortable handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously. The work you perform during the night sets the foundation for a well-structured and well-planned morning and evening shift for your colleagues. Your primary responsibility is, of course, to ensure that every guest has an excellent hotel experience from check-in to check-out, always with a friendly smile.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available, depending on the applicant. If you are hired for a fixed number of hours, you will also be part of a regular shift schedule. If hired as a substitute, shifts will be scheduled as needed. Shifts may be on any evening of the week, including weekends, holidays, etc.

YOUR TASKS WILL INCLUDE:

• A shift between 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Check-in and check-out of guests
• Booking rooms and answering phone calls
• Assisting guests
• Handling administrative tasks
• Conducting safety rounds at the hotel
• Training new employees in Marriott standards
• Handling other relevant reception tasks

YOUR PROFILE:

• Experience in the hotel and service industry is an advantage, but not required
• Knowledge of Danish and English, both written and spoken
• A genuine desire to provide service and help others
• A good general understanding of IT
• The ability to work independently and responsibly, as you will be alone at the reception
• A thorough, dedicated, and proactive attitude
• You are a night owl who enjoys working while most others are asleep
