Drive and develop RHI Magnesita HR in France

RHI Magnesita France consists of two production plants in Valenciennes and Flaumont with app. 165 employees and a Sales office in Paris with 11 employees. You will work together with another HR Business Partner in France, the European HR-BP team, and Global Business Service Center in Spain. Your tasks are primarily to support management at the two plants and to take part of the development of processes and systems transforming HR RHIM France into a more efficient, lean and more digitalized HR-function. Your daily tasks and responsibilities count:

• Support managers on the two plants with recruitments, onboarding, career paths, yearly salary increase process, promotions, resignations, terminations etc.
• Handle HR-legal matters like legislation, regulations, litigations, and labor disputes
• Continue the strong cooperation with the local unions
• Engage in cooperation with local educational institutions regarding internships and related
• Develop processes, procedures and digitalize paperwork

The role is based at the plant in Valenciennes, and you will report to the Head of HR Europe West based in Rotterdam in The Netherlands. We are flexible, if you prefer a fulltime or part-time position (4 days/week).

Experienced HR Business Partner interested in development of the HR function

You have some years relevant experience as a HR Business Partner or related. The industry, your experience derive from, is not important – as long as you are strong on French HR-legal matters. Furthermore, you take pride in providing solid HR partnership for the leadership as well as the needed development of HR-processes and building cooperation with local educational institutions and related.

Besides this we are looking for you who:

• are fluent in English besides French
