Benelux and the Nordics have one HR-team that consists of one HR Partner for Benelux and three HR colleagues in the Nordics.

Netherlands and Belgium

We are seeking a new HR Partner that will focus on Netherlands and Belgium. The role is based in Amsterdam. You will report to HR Director Jeanette Pryter based in Copenhagen.

The new HR Partner Benelux will be responsible for the implementation and success of HR initiatives across the business. Lenovo has approximately 165 employees in Netherlands and Belgium. The managers of these employees will be your primary focus.

The new HR Partner will focus on:

- Business Partnering:

  • Help and coach local managers in order for them to achieve their business objectives. This is done by building trust and get to know their business challenges and potential and by that become a trusted partner
  • You know how to address people and organizational challenges, and you have the experience in how to best support managers in creating and implement people plans, recruiting, developing employees and the organization to meet the business goals
  • The role also includes updating of guidelines and materials to ensure compliance with local legislation and policies.

Operational HR:

  • You play an important role in driving operational excellence. Examples: you flawlessly draw up contracts, validate data, perform internal audits, off cycle compensation actions etc.
  • The EMEA HR support teams are centralized in our shared service centre in Bratislava. You have access to experienced colleagues that assist with talent acquisition, payroll, talent management, learning & development, and compensation & benefit
  • You can either choose to run recruitments yourself or you can delegate this to the TA-team in Bratislava.

The HR profile we are looking for:

You are an experienced HR generalist, with minimum eight years' experience in a similar role from an international and commercial environment. Our expectation is a colleague that:

  • Can demonstrate pragmatism and strike mutual solutions with the business leaders
  • Can demonstrate and leverage the experience, skills, and knowledge of the HR industry to make an impact in key areas such as change management, organizational design, employee engagement and talent analytics
  • Can analyse human resource metrics and drive data-based decision making
  • Can communicate effectively at different levels of organisation.

You will be able to use some days every second week in Machelen (Belgium). You master both English and Dutch on a professional level, and French will be an advantage. If you have background from a software or hardware company, or from a vendor, this will be an advantage. Your education is probably a university degree within HR Management, Psychology & Business Administration. You are both interested and competent in working operational and strategic. You are a truly HR generalist!
