The position
On behalf of Coloplast, we are searching for an Application Specialist who has experience in documentation management and configuration of quality systems and processes, e.g.: Change Control, Validation, Audit - on platforms like TrackWise, Veeva and STEP.
As an Application Specialist, you will take part in IT implementation projects. You will also support with handling of incidents and change requests. Additionally you will:
- Screen, evaluate and handle change requests
- Ensure that documentation requirements are met
- Prioritise the different development requests and challenge the business on their needs, beginning by creating minimum viable solutions
- Translate business needs into technical solutions and configure these solutions
- Collaborate with software vendors, discussing technical matters, assigning tasks/deadlines and ensuring the quality of deliveries and compliance with our procedures and standards
You will become part of the Global IT Development department who, on a day-to-day basis, collaborate closely with different departments in the organisation to understand the business needs.
IT projects are done using Agile methodology with Scrum implementation.
Your onboarding will be based on side by side training and hands on mentoring. You are required to participate in e-learning to understand the rules and regulations the industry must follow.
Your profile
The right candidate has a background within IT preferably with computer science or similar. You can be a graduate or have a couple of years of experience.
To succeed in this position, you possess great communication and presentation skills, enabling you to make your ideas heard across an international organisation and the cross-border team. Moreover, you have a strong methodological understanding and the ability to think both conceptually and analytically, qualifying you to facilitate new IT technologies and designs.
It is important that:
- You have a quality mindset that respect regulations and procedures
- You have a programming mindset, and are experienced with a programming language, preferably JavaScript
- You have a solid understanding of IT, database and network architecture
- You speak and write English on a professional level
Furthermore, it is an advantage, if you have knowledge from the life science industry and understand the rules and regulations of the industry.
On a personal note you are known to be a team player, who is willing to share knowledge and be transparent regarding the progress of your tasks. You possess a natural curiosity to understand other people and have a humble approach in your way of working.
We offer
The position is a maternity cover, working on a fulltime contract until May 1, 2020.
Your place of work will be at Coloplast offices in Humlebæk – north of Copenhagen.
Payment will be based upon your qualifications.
