About Avanade
We are looking for a new HR Business Partner to join us and become part of this exciting journey – securing high employment commitment and engagement within our team.
At Avanade Denmark, we are currently 70 highly dedicated employees, and we plan to grow. At Avanade Finland, we are currently 30 highly dedicated employees, and we plan to grow rapidly in the Finnish market this year.
As HR Business Partner for Avanade Denmark & Finland, you will be responsible for driving the people agenda and enable the talent strategy – with direct reporting to the Nordic HR Lead. This is a stand-alone role, but you will be part of a team of 3 HRBPs and 1 HR Admin in the Nordics, as part of a business of 350 talented individuals around the Nordics.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for supporting our Leadership Team in Denmark and in Finland, support the Career Advisers in their leadership, drive key HR/people initiatives and processes, including employee inquiries, onboarding, culture-building and general personnel administration is part of the role. The HR Business Partner will interpret HR policies, programs, and procedures and act as a liaison to other teams such as capability, recruiting, payroll and our shared service center.
You will provide program management support to the Business within several areas – including, but not limited to: Performance management, professional and talent development, compensation, engagement, inclusion and diversity.
The role is extremely varied, no day is like another, and the tasks and challenges at hand can be high and low. You will be expected to work “high and low”, from building a strategic plan of action with the leadership team to ensuring an administrative task is completed correctly, following Avanade process/policy.

Areas of responsibility
- Implement Avanade Denmark and Avanade Finland’s HR strategy and drive HR initiatives locally as an ambassador of Avanade values
- Contribute to the improvement of HR policies and programs through participation on special projects and task forces globally
- Ensure compliance with and implementation of programs, policies, practices and processes associated with meeting the strategic and operational people need of the organization
- Drive the performance management process (Annual Review) and take ownership in co-creating a phenomenal work environment and organizational culture where talent thrives
- Provide reporting and analytics on HR/people metrics and identify themes and trends to support people decisions, and make suggestions for improvement
- Provide input to local communications, written and oral, including content development and be a sparring partner to Country Management
- Translate business plans into HR strategic and operational program plans
- Manage the OnBoarding of all new talent to the business and the Offboarding of any leavers
- Ensure that all administrative work is completed efficiently, and WorkDay is updated timely
Qualifications
- Strong HR knowledge and documented experience, experience and interest for HR administration, retention, inclusion & diversity, onboarding and performance management
- Has documented experience of working in HR with several countries simultaneously
- Proven success in delivering employee programs that impacted/improved the success of an organization/department
- In-depth knowledge of applicable regional employment laws
- You will most likely hold a master or bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience
- You likely have at least 5 years of professional experience from a similar Human Resources Partner role
