About the job
The position as HR partner is a key role within HR. The position is placed within the HR team responsible for headquarters in Copenhagen and DRC’s operations in Denmark. You will refer to the Head of HR for HQ and Denmark. You will support 3 of our 6 global Executive Directors, their managers and their employees. You will work closely with your HR Partner colleague who also supports HQ, and you will also align and cooperate with the 3 HR Partners supporting our international operations outside of Denmark. You will also cooperate closely with the HR Operations and Analytics team in HR.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advise and support managers in HQ on both operational and strategic tasks in all HR related matters: salary and compensation, recruitment, well-being, development, performance and planning
- Ensure compliance with Union Agreements, Danish labor law and HR policies and guidelines
- Participate in select managerial recruitments within the business areas you support for roles in Denmark.
- Support the Head of HR for HQ and Denmark with specialist tasks
- Lead HR projects on different areas and matters, depending on your profile
- Strategic tasks such as developing concepts for leadership development and localizing global HR policy to HQ and Denmark
About you
To be successful in this role we expect you to have solid experience in HR processes and a solid understanding of Danish Union Agreements and Danish labor law. You have experience working as an HR Partner or in a similar position. In order to thrive in the role, you need to enjoy a combination of operational and strategic tasks as well as enjoy collaborating with many stakeholders in a large and diverse international organization. We also expect you to support DRC’s mission and vision, and most likely this will be a motivational factor for you.

Required
- You have an academic degree within a relevant field, or alternatively you have equivalent work experience.
- You have excellent cooperation skills and ability to create strong relationships. You have high integrity.
- You are proactive and you follow your tasks until they are closed. You are both a finisher and an initiator. You deliver.
- You have strong project management and communication skills. You listen and you are listened to.
- You are service-minded and not afraid of a certain amount of administrative tasks as part of your daily work.
- You enjoy working with many international colleagues and you contribute to our great work environment.
- You are fluent in Danish - as you need to be able to read and interpret our Union Agreements.
- You are fluent in English - as English will be one of your daily working languages.
Desirable
- Experience working as HR Partner in a large international organization/business or NGO
- Expertise within taxation rules and payroll in Denmark
We offer
Contract length: permanent
Work place: Borgergade 10, Copenhagen
Start date: 1 March or at the latest 1 April 2021
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and AC (fuldmægtig-level) or DRC and HK (depending on your educational background). This is a national position for which local terms and conditions apply.
Please note that you need to have the right to work in Denmark (through nationality or existing work permit) in order to be considered for this role.
