Role Description

As a Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will report to Europe’s Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Consulting Lead. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the existing and prospective CTI consulting portfolio, such as threat assessments (attack surface assessments), industry threat landscape reports, bespoke advisory (client-specific reports), social media brand monitoring, and sentiment analysis engagements.

The role requires prior basic knowledge of open-source intelligence collection, and processing and analysis of multiple data sources, most of which are open source.

Key Responsibilities

  • Timely delivery of the CTI consulting portfolio adhering to the highest standard of quality

  • Collaborative production of threat assessment reports that highlight a company’s risk score based on a prior assessment of that company’s industry-based threat landscape and company-specific digital footprint

  • Production of ad-hoc cyber threat intelligence alerts and reports aimed at meeting client requirements

  • Investigate analysis of threats faced by specific industry verticals in which Accenture operates

  • Contribution to the team’s overall delivery effectiveness and efficiency, such as by contributing to analyst workflow automation, trialling new tools, and contributing to strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat (SWOT) analysis of existing delivery methodologies



Qualifications


Basic Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent qualifications, preferably relating to politics, intelligence, or information security

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience involving analysis of information from disparate sources and synthesizing it into concise and useful reports for a varied audience across different governance levels


Required Skills

  • Ability to conduct open-source intelligence collection and analysis

  • Ability to produce intelligence products for varied consumption levels (e.g., tactical, operational, strategic)

  • Open-source intelligence (OSINT), social media intelligence (SOCMINT), human intelligence (HUMINT), and technical intelligence (TECHINT) gathering skills

  • Basic knowledge of open-source tools, such as Shodan, Maltego, PassiveTotal)

  • Knowledge of how to work on regulatory-driven engagements, such as CBEST and TIBER (Threat Intelligence-Based Ethical Red-teaming) engagements

  • Working knowledge of frameworks and methodologies to quantify cyber risk (e.g., FAIR)

  • Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams

  • Research skills

  • English language proficiency (both written and oral)


Desired Skills

  • Strong writing skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Non-English language skills (linguistic capabilities are a plus)

  • Ability to learn quickly and apply learned skills to ensure continuous improvement in deliverable creation

  • Basic knowledge of threat intelligence and cyber Defense concepts

  • Basic technical skills, such as understanding of infrastructure enumeration

  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction

  • Experience in a similar role
