The Global People Development Manager (Talent) role will be responsible for implementing Talent initiatives in support of building a Talent pipeline for sustainable business growth, for the three semi divisions. This role is being offered on a 1 year secondment basis.
The GPDM will use diagnostic tools and data, such as Talent Review, to inform and shape Talent initiatives and projects aligned to the Divisional and HR strategies. The Global People Development Manager (Talent) will create and develop Talent pools associated with critical roles and skills requirements, working across divisions, regions, and functions.
The GPDM will work closely with the Head of Talent in support of Strategic workforce planning, analysing current and future state requirements and implementing the appropriate Talent lever to close the gap.

Accountabilities:
- Lead on the development of solutions to support engineering Talent pipeline health and career pathsCo-design and deliver Talent solutions in support of building future capabilities and sustainable business growth e.g., mentorship
- Analyse and use relevant Talent and HR data to support and drive Talent pool development and Talent reporting and insight
- Supporting the Head of Talent to maintain close alignment with VTBA and AC Talent activities, leveraging best practice and sharing insights. Taking the lead to deep dive into specific projects accordingly
- Collaborating with relevant HRM’s in PCs, STC’s and CC’s and divisional HRBP’s to ensure that global Talent pools/programmes are supported with the relevant expertise
- Ensure all Talent programmes and solutions are appropriately managed and reported through Learning Link
- Aligning with other GPDM’s – on communication, content, and experience
- Seek and use external best practice and theory to support personal continuous professional development and organisational maturity/understanding of current and emerging best practice
Skills, Experience Requirements:
- Formal qualification or degree in related HR discipline with at least 5 years experience
- Project and programme management skills within HR
- Ability to communicate effectively at all organisational levels through verbal and written means with experience of presenting ideas to senior stakeholders to achieve desired results
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Proficient in data management and analysis
- Talent management experience gained in a technical/manufacturing environment
- Qualified and experienced in the use of Kirkpatrick training evaluation model
- Some occasional travel (domestic and international) will be required
