Canon EMEA is looking for a Learning and Development Consultant to join their L&D department, based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
Our L&D mission is to be a professional, sustainable, effective and efficient department and to create a learning environment that is owned by all and realizes growth for the individual and the company.
Partnering with the senior Sales & Marketing business and HR stakeholders, the Learning and Development consultant will support employee experience and the achievement of their business results.

As Learning and Development Consultant you will:
- Use the LNA methodology to collaborate with central business and function stakeholders to define priorities in people development to achieve business strategic goals.
- Advise key stakeholders on how to integrate learning in their business strategy and promote the available learning journeys.
- Identify and translate the capabilities required to meet business’ results into strategic learning objectives with clearly defined timelines and ownership
- Identify the most efficient and effective delivery methods for all learning programmes or development interventions.
In addition, you will:
- work in close collaboration with Learning Facilitators to design the agreed learning as defined in your LNA.
- evaluate all learning outcomes as agreed with the business through the strategic LNA. Feedback evaluation to the relevant People Development Facilitators, the local business partners or external providers
- where required, select, collaborate and manage, external local third parties to design and/or deliver the programmes, setting up Train the trainer sessions for L&D facilitators.
- ensure that processes are followed so that programmes are available to the right audience and all completion/results are captured in the Canon Development hub (CDH).
- ensure the L&D and HR Business Partner community understands the curricula available so that they can promote and advise the business or functions line managers.
- When appropriate, facilitate learning in line with the defined programs and delivery method, adapting for the local needs, in collaboration with the assigned Learning Facilitators.
Our Learning and Development Consultant plays an active role within the L&D community of Canon EMEA, providing and sharing expertise and experience and supporting projects when appropriate.
As Learning and development Consultant you:
Fluent English required and at least one other language is desirable.

You will need
As Learning and development Consultant you:
- Have proven L&D experience preferably working with sales and/or marketing departments
- Provide consultation, analysis, design, development, and on-going administration of learning curricula and programmes.
- Demonstrate characteristics of an Influencer 1: Authenticity, 2: Expert Content Creation, 3: Community Management, 4: Trust, 5:Passion.
- Have knowledge/accreditation in one of the profiling tools (TMS, Belbin, MBTI, etc)
- Are people orientated and passionate about achievement of results, through development, (Upskilling, Reskilling).
- Preferably relevant work experience or Bachelor’s degree or equal level of experience.
