Develop best in class Nordic HR function to support business growth

Develop efficient Nordic HR function that excels in supporting the business

Accell Group in the four Nordic countries covers Sales, Service, Warehouse and Back office – a total of app. 200 employees and a multimillion Euros revenue. You are part of the Nordic HR team that besides you consists of an HRBP in DK and the HR Manager Northwest Europe based in Sweden. Accell Group has grown by a number of acquisitions and thus HR processes, systems and services differs greatly from location to location. The company is on a journey to completely redesign HR to develop a best in class highly efficient HR function capable of providing extraordinary service and support for the entire organization.

Your daily tasks and responsibilities counts to:

  • Together with the Nordics HR team – streamline, harmonize and centralize the entire Nordic HR function in close cooperation with the rest of the HR organization to establish highly efficient HR processes and support;
  • Provide support in various HR functions, including e.g. onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development and HR administration;
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in the Nordic region;
  • Serve as a point of contact for HR related employee inquiries and concerns;
  • Reviewing, updating and providing support on HR policies and procedures to ensure they remain current, compliant and aligned with industry best practices;
  • Further develop the culture in HR into a truly supportive and service oriented mindset;
  • Participate in the implementation of Workday as the HR system across the Accell Group organization, while also serving as a key user of the system;

The role is based at the Accell Group location in Odense, Denmark or Espoo, Finland – there will be a need for you to be at the office 2-3 days per week. You will be providing remote support for Norway, Finland, and Sweden, with occasional travel to these locations. You will also have the opportunity to travel to other Accell sites in Europe, typically 1-2 times per year. Your direct reporting line will be to the HR Manager Northwest Europe, based in Sweden.

Experienced HR Generalist profile

You have a background from operational HR with experience from a generalist role, demonstrating comprehensive skill set to effectively manage diverse HR topics. You have experience from working in an international environment, preferably from a matrix organization. Your adaptable nature allows you to approach situations with flexibility, effortlessly adjusting to changes as they arise. In your previous employments you acquired strong knowledge of employment law and regulations, ideally across multiple Nordic countries.

Furthermore, we are seeking someone who:

  • Has a proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and propose practical solutions;
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships with employees and stakeholders at all levels;
  • Is a collaborative team player with a commitment to fostering a positive work culture and supporting employee development;
  • Is well organised with excellent attention to detail;
  • Is fluent in Danish and English – proficiency in Finnish and other Nordic languages is an advantage.
