HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT

San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic

We have an incredible opportunity for a Human Resources Assistant to join our Human Resources Team. As a Human Resources Assistant you will be responsible for contributing to the proper functioning of the human resources department, with their effective collaboration and assistance. Position involved with all sub-systems of the area, recruitment and retirement of personnel, reports to governmental entities, labor relations, registration and control.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Perform recruitment at the operational and administrative level as well as assist in the induction of the new personnel.
  • Maintain the record of common incapacities in the SISALRIL portal and DGT 4 movements of the company’s personnel in the portal of the Ministerio de Trabajo.
  • Make monthly reports regarding the reason for the departure of ex-employees and absenteeism records.
  • Maintain disciplinary control over the personnel.
  • Assist staff with general issues (information on health insurance, disability, processes in the company and general concerns).
  • Perform other duties related and complementary to your position and/or as required by your immediate supervisor.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED?

  • Graduated in Business Administration, Psychology or related careers.
  • English language skills - Upper intermediate to advanced level.
  • MS Office package knowledge.
  • 1 year experience in Human Resources areas.
  • Ability to manage people.
